About us

We are a Rotary International (D7690) Triple-Crown,

Multiple-Platinum Award Winning Club.

What makes Global Trekkers such an awesome Rotary Club?

  • Flexible, Online and Off-line Rotary Service Projects that contribute to humanity.

  • Weekly meetings are conducted online via zoom with internationally acclaimed speakers.

  • Members bring their service projects to our Club and get full support and access to grants (where applicable).

  • Members undertake physical Rotary service in the US and in other countries where they are located.

  • We offer excellent access to build friendship & support through regular business & professional networking.

  • Our members access free leadership development and ongoing training through the Rotary Learning Centre.

  • Our Club is perfect for Rotarians needing to do 'Make up meetings', for the mobility challenged and time poor.

  • Affordable --we don't have all those additional fees that traditional clubs have i.e: meals, sergeant fines etc..

  • Stay connected to Rotary when relocating interstate or overseas.

  • We put an emphasis on FUN!

Our History.

Our Rotary EClub was born from one of the 'oldest' Rotary Clubs in the Rotary International family.

On 22 February 1947 the Rotary Club of Walnut Cove was chartered in Stokes County, North Carolina, USA. On the last day of the Rotary 2016-17 year, that club merged with Rotarians living in the US and Australia to become the Rotary E-Club of Global Trekkers D7690.

We are an incredibly diverse group.

Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds, nationalities and cultures. We physically undertake several of our Rotary signature service projects on the ground in North Carolina where we are headquartered, and also in other locations in the US and globally.

(Australia, Mexico, Spain, Colombia, Thailand Philippines).

Our service is unique, meaningful and FUN!

Our members nominate service projects from Rotary's Seven Areas of Focus.
