Two of our members Romanie Gunness and Ian Ragoonanan, collaborated on a volunteer service project in Trinidad. It is an ART CLASS FOR SENIORS every Thursday morning for 90 minutes. Ian has offered to assist with supplying some of the canvas board and acrylic paint and is sending it to Trinidad from Florida.
The attendees are invited from a pool of patients, many of whom are going through grief, memory changes, chronic pain or simply isolated for long periods. The tutor is a well established art teacher who has experience working with terminal/palliative care patients. Here are some photos from the first class!
