What is rotary?
As Rotarians, we are dedicated to solving real world problems. That takes real commitment and vision. For more than 110 years, Rotary's people of action have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects. From literacy and peace to water and health, we are always working to better our world, and we stay committed to the end.
Rotary members believe that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world’s most persistent issues. Our 35,000+ clubs work together to:
Provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene
Save mothers and children
Grow local economies
Join Rotary’s 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

The Rotary E-Club of Global Trekkers is one of Rotary International's oldest but newest E-Clubs.
The Rotary E-Club of Global Trekkers has members in the United States of America, Australia, Vietnam, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, Mexico, Colombia and the Philippines. We also have regular visitors from Brazil and other parts of the world.
We are one of Rotary’s oldest newest e-clubs originally chartered 22 February 1947 as the Rotary Club of Walnut Cove, in Stokes County, North Carolina. The Walnut Cove Club risked closure but a merger with Rotarians living in the US and Australia resulted in the charter the Rotary E-Club of Global Trekkers D7690 which formed on the very last day of the 2016-17 Rotary Year.
We Global Trekkers serve humanity, not for money, power or our vanity...
And not for Paul Harris Fellows worn with pride. But for a feeling we get deep inside....
Knowing we're helping others far and near. That's what makes us VOLUNTEER
