Rotary Global Trekkers

We are a Rotary International (D7690) Triple-Crown, Multiple-Platinum Award Winning Club.

On 22 February 1947 the Rotary Club of Walnut Cove was chartered in Stokes County, North Carolina. On the last day of the Rotary 2016-17 year, the club merged with Rotarians living in the US and Australia to become the Rotary E-Club of Global Trekkers D7690.

The Rotary E-Club of Global Trekkers is an incredibly diverse group.

Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds and undertake Rotary service projects locally in North Carolina where we are headquartered, and also in other locations in the US and globally.

(Australia, Mexico, Spain, Colombia, Thailand Philippines).

Our service is unique, meaningful and FUN!

Our members bring their own personal service projects forward. Everyone contributes to those projects from across the globe.

Ours is a unique way to do Rotary service for humanity, and it works!

We'd love to see you!

What makes Global Trekkers such an awesome Rotary Club?

  • Our EClub is perfect for busy people who don't have a lot of time to spare but still want to do Rotary service.

  • It's a great way to do 'make up' meetings if you travel (we also have video recordings of meetings).

  • You can join a meeting from anywhere in the world, so long as you have internet.

  • It's easy for people who may be mobility challenged. Our members don't even have to leave their home (we meet online via Zoom).

  • It's a cost effective way to belong to the Rotary family (we don't have all those additional fees that traditional clubs have ie: meals, sergeant fines etc...)

  • It's a great way to stay connected to Rotary when you relocate to a new state/country/job or are looking for a way to reconnect as a former Rotarian.

  • We have amazing speakers each week who inspire.

  • Our service projects provide flexible opportunities to contribute to humanity.

  • We put an emphasis on FUN!
